Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Place tablespoon-sized mounds of shredded cheese about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.
  3. Use cookie cutters to shape into festive Halloween forms like pumpkins, ghosts, or bats if desired.
  4. Sprinkle optional seasonings over the cheese mounds for added flavor.
  5. Bake for 6–8 minutes, watching closely around the 5-minute mark, until edges are golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and allow crisps to cool completely on the baking sheet before lifting with a spatula. They’ll firm up as they cool.

Notes

For air fryer method: Preheat to 375°F, line basket with parchment, air fry for 6–8 minutes, and let crisps cool before removing. Store cooled crisps in an airtight container with a paper towel for up to 2 days. Use low-moisture cheese for best crunch.
